MARC KD is a Danish artist, singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer blending West Coast G-funk with disco, soul, R&B, and 80s funk.

Built around deep grooves, warm synth textures, live musicianship, and a commanding vocal presence, his sound combines classic funk tradition with modern independent artistry.

Raised in Copenhagen and shaped further by a formative stay in Crestview, Florida in the 90s, MARC KD absorbed the musical atmosphere and cultural influences that would later define his identity as an artist.

Before launching his solo career, he became known through Danish hip hop groups NoCanDo and KBH Kartel. NoCanDo reached #2 on the Danish charts, while his debut solo single "(Just A) Baller" later reached #1 in Poland.

In 2022, he founded Black Mansion — an independent creative label and production house focused on artistic freedom, groove-driven music, and long-term creative ownership.

His debut album "The Music" (2013), featuring live musicians and collaborations with acclaimed Danish trumpeter Jan Glæsel and his ensemble, reflects a continued commitment to timeless production, musicality, and atmosphere over trends and shortcuts.
